Knowing you bra size

Hi people!!

So today, I want to make sure you all know how to measure your bra size!! No more guessing. To be able to look good, you have to have the right support. When shopping for a bra, you will note that bras are sized using numbers and alphabets. The number represents the band size and the alphabet represent the cup size. Knowing your bra size is not as hard as many of us make it out to be. Before you get started, there are a few things that you should take note of:

  • Avoid wearing a bra. If you are going to wear a bra, wear one that does not have an under wire and that has no padding.
  • Get a someone to help you. When you want to get accurate measurements, it is always advisable to get someone to help you. When doing it yourself, you are more prone to errors.
  • Stand in your most natural and comfortable posture. If you do not do this, you are likely to get the wrong measurement.
How to do it:
  1. Using a tape measure, measure (in inches) round your rib cage right under your bust. Ensure that the tape measure is level at the back and the front. Add 5" to your measurement. That is, if you measured 29", after adding 5", you will get 34".
  2. Measure around the fullest part of your bust loosely. Ensure that the tape measure is level at the front and back. Subtract your band size from this measurement. For example 37"-34"=3". The difference is your cup size. How you may ask? if the difference is  0-1"= A cup; 2"= B cup; 3"= C cup; 4"= D cup; 5"= DD cup

Yes ladies, it is that easy. No more bad fitting bras. Get yourself that right fit.

Have a lovely week!!
